Data-Driven Solution to Meet Institutional and Student Needs

Portable, mobile, social and integrated directly with Blackboard Learn, HMH Portfolio is a robust service for storage, ePortfolios and managing standards and outcomes. Encourage students to be active participants in their own learning experiences by providing the frameworks to demonstrate how coursework and real-life accomplishments relate to standards, competencies, and professional goals.

Power and Portability

With HMH Portfolio’s cloud-based file sharing and storage system, users can store, access and leverage their digital artifacts anytime, anywhere to create portfolios for multiple processes, including continuous improvement, assessment, and accreditation. Students can keep their accounts post graduation, ensuring that their evidence of learning and complete portfolio goes with them.

Be Interconnected

HMH Portfolio provides users with ways to connect with their classmates and broader social networks. Interactive conversations, comments and live-chat features provide informal ways to help students reflect and collaborate on their work, while rubrics, assessment and badges allow for review, feedback and validation.

Taking a step out into the social ecosystem, simple tools allow users to share portfolios on LinkedIn, or post single artifacts to Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr. Google Drive integration means users can work collaboratively, and then sync documents directly to their HMH Portfolio accounts. Badges earned within HMH Portfolio can also be synced to users’ Mozilla backpacks with a single click.

Standards and Outcomes

Customizable and easy to use, HMH Portfolio lets users across an institution, from administrators to students, create ePortfolios around the frameworks that matter to them. Depending on the needs of your programs, frameworks might be standards, student learning outcomes, or an outline of requirements.

By aligning the frameworks to courses, assignments, and rubrics, multiple processes can take place. For example, artifacts and files are automatically placed in portfolios based on these alignments, creating opportunities for assessment, feedback and student reflection. Students benefit from organized collections of their work, and the ability to easily showcase their achievements.

Rubric alignments to frameworks help institutions assess how key assignments map to standards or outcomes, and can provide student data by standard. Whether you are managing and assessing student learning outcomes, working to align evidence to key standards for accreditation or concerned with employability, HMH Portfolio meets your needs with ease.

Developed for education, HMH Portfolio is easy to implement and even easier to use.
